Key industry magazines across the APAC region - We Change Minds

Breaking into APAC

Technical PR | Electronics PR | Energy PR

The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region takes up approximately 22 per cent of the global land area. So, if you’re interested in stepping foot into the region, there’s a lot of ground to cover and finding a starting point might be daunting. Fortunately, the region is also home to some world-class engineering, manufacturing and tech publications.

Australian Manufacturing Technology (AMT)

With over 7,000 copies distributed a month, AMT is one of the most highly regarded manufacturing magazines in the country, and one Stone Junction knows very well.

Considered a magazine by the industry, for the industry, AMT is part of the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) — the peak national body that represents the interests of manufacturing technology suppliers and users within the precision engineering and advanced manufacturing sector.

This magazine provides information, education and support to the manufacturing technology industry through plenty of thought leadership articles.

Manufacturing Today India

There’s a reason this publication has a readership of over 300,000. Described as a premium B2B publication offering content that guides executives in taking the right business call, Manufacturing Today contains insights, interviews, analysis and research for industries varying from automotive and aviation, to chemicals and equipment manufacturing.

According to the magazine’s readership analysis, 82 per cent of readers have used Manufacturing Today to make purchasing decisions, so it’s certainly one to keep in mind.

APMEN

Established in 1986, Asia Pacific Metalworking Equipment News is one of the most authoritative metalworking trade magazines in the region. While the name alludes to metalworking, APMEN is also regarded as The Engineering Journal for Manufacturing, Automation and Quality Control.

As Asia’s number one English language metalworking magazine, APMEN is a must-read for professionals working in automotive, aerospace, die and mould, oil and gas, electrical and electronics and medical engineering industries.

Asia Manufacturing News

Covering all corners within APAC, Asia Manufacturing News provides the latest news and information about the manufacturing industry in Asia.

From staying informed with the latest developments, trends and technologies in the sector, to gaining insights into the challenges and opportunities experienced by companies alike, Asia Manufacturing News enables you to keep up to date with news from across the entire region.

Industrial Automation India

For all things automation related, Industrial Automation India is one of the most widely read journals in the automation industry, with an estimated readership of 100,000.

Every month, the magazine covers the latest developments in the field of industrial and process automation, factory automation, instrumentation and control, pumps and valves, hydraulics and pneumatics, robotics, as well as new product information. A great magazine to keep in your tool kit!

Industry Sourcing

Encompassing a variety of topics and sectors, Industry Sourcing is one of the most popular publications in China. Owned by Ringier Trade, Industry Sourcing has been a leading B2B industrial information provider for over 20 years, with an audience spanning across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Industry Sourcing publishes 16 different magazines in Chinese, from metalworking and food and beverage to plastics and automotive manufacturing. Don’t worry if you don’t speak Chinese though. The website can be viewed in English, with a select few magazines including International Plastics News for Asia, FoodPacific Manufacturing Journal and International Metalworking News for Asia available to read in English.

Taken together, these publications show just how varied the APAC media landscape really is. From highly specialised engineering titles to broad manufacturing news platforms, each plays a distinct role in how technical stories are shared and trusted across the region. Knowing which outlets shape conversation in different markets is often the difference between activity that simply exists, and coverage that actually lands with the audiences that matter.
