Midlands PR agency, Stone Junction, has had its most successful year ever at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) awards, taking home two gold awards and two silver awards. The awards took place on November 10, 2017 at the VOX conference centre, Birmingham, and recognise the industry's top achievements across the region.
In the last year, Stone Junction has celebrated an increased turnover of nearly 90 per cent, increased employment by 112 per cent and even opened a second office. This growth has brought in new clients, new talent and innovative campaigns.
The awards haul means that Stone Junction won the most awards of any agency in Staffordshire on the night and took home the joint-most awards of any agency at this year’s PRide – alongside Birmingham’s WPR.
Stone Junction was awarded gold in the Issues, Crisis or Reputation Management categories and STEM Campaign categories, and silver in the Education Communications Campaign and Low Budget Campaign.
This isn't the first time the company has won gold for its STEM work. The company also took home first place in the STEM category back in 2015. As a scientific, engineering and technology PR company, this reinforces the consistently great results the company achieves for its clients in technical fields.
According to the judges at this year's event, Stone Junction’s winning STEM campaign was, "a solid, sleeves-up campaign driven by good research. It demonstrated exceptional measurement and outcomes."
"As a chartered member of the CIPR, these awards are incredibly important," said Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. "As well as the incredible atmosphere across our offices, we have also been able to establish a benchmark of where Stone Junction sits relation to other Midlands PR companies."
Stone Junction offers a wide range of services, from copywriting and content creation to media relations, brand journalism, SEO and social media management. To find out more, just visit the agency’s website on www.wechangeminds.com.
