You have built something genuinely impressive. The engineering is solid and the deployment results are there. The media coverage, somehow, does not reflect the product.
You have the board on your back, chasing you for updates. They want to know why their innovation isn’t on Automation.com, in Drives & Controls or dominating SPS Magazin.
That gap is where Stone Junction works. We can help.
Stone Junction was an automation PR agency first. Before we did anything else, in any other industry. Our first clients were just like you, in the sector you work in.
Now, we are a team of more than 30 international and highly technical, digital and traditional PR and marketing consultants and automation marketing is still our first love.
We’ve won more than seventy awards for our work since 2015, and we generate around 8000 pieces of specialist media coverage every year.
We are a PR Week top 150 agency, a Sunday Times best small company to work for and genuinely amongst the leading automation PR consultancies in the world.
But don’t take our word for it, check out this case study, based on our work with CP Automation in 2025/26 to see how good we are.
Here’s a sneak preview. We delivered a 12-month integrated automation marketing campaign for our client CP Automation, a systems integrator and maintenance company, to raise awareness of power quality issues and position the company as an expert partner.
Built around the narrative Keeping Industry in Motion, the campaign used a PESO (Paid, Earned, Owned, Shared) approach combining trade media, LinkedIn content, SEO-led owned content and paid promotion.
Creative tactics made technical issues more accessible while maintaining authority. Results exceeded all KPIs, generating 119 media clippings, 14 full-page features, 9% LinkedIn engagement, a 48% website traffic increase and 136 enquiries.
CP Automation estimated Stone Junction activity contributed approximately £750,000 in revenue impact.
The campaign then went on to win two industry awards from the CIPR.

“Power quality is complex and often misunderstood, but Stone Junction made it accessible, engaging and commercially relevant for a wide range of audiences. By combining technical credibility with creative, integrated storytelling, the campaign exceeded our expectations — raising our profile, driving meaningful engagement and clearly demonstrating the commercial value of PR to our business,” John Mitchell, global sales and marketing director at CP Automation
“For the past six years, Beckhoff has had the pleasure of collaborating with Stone Junction as a technical PR partner. During this time, we have found that their expertise and skills have complemented our own, filling critical gaps in our company without incurring the high costs associated with in-house solutions.
“Working with the Stone Junction team has been a joy. They have a great balance of following our lead while also providing us with creative and innovative ideas. It’s clear that they are passionate about their work, and their enthusiasm is infectious,” Rachel Duckworth, marketing manager at global automation giant, Beckhoff.
We achieve this success by knowing the media. Editors covering industrial automation and collaborative robotics PR content are not short of pitches. They have a clear sense of what belongs in their publication, and they know which agencies understand that.
Stone Junction has been part of that conversation for over two decades. We know which editor wants a deep technical analysis and which wants an application story from the factory floor. We know the commissioning cycles and the angles that reliably get placed.
That knowledge shapes every pitch we write and every relationship we maintain.
At Stone Junction, we understand how the automation industry works, so much so that we have probably even written about your technology or products and services before — we know our market at that level of depth.
Even our least experienced consultants have written dozens of articles that have appeared in the automation media. Our most experienced have written hundreds. If you want to see some examples, just e-mail sayhello@stonejunction.co.uk.
What’s more, given the increase in interest in automation and automated processes on a national scale, opportunities are beginning to open up for coverage in very high-profile media. In view of this, we can deliver results irrespective of whether your target is the automation media in the UK, Europe or further afield.
The bottom line is, when we write content for you, that content will be outstanding first-time round. No more sending it back to the writer for another pass.
The automation industry is amongst the fastest growing sectors in engineering across the globe. Whether you provide software or hardware, SCADA or SCARA, inverters or robotics, there is a huge opportunity for media coverage that Stone Junction can help you grasp.
Automation technology is rarely straightforward to communicate. A new cobot deployment is also a story about the changing economics of assembly. A SCADA upgrade is also a story about operational resilience. Stone Junction finds the frame that connects your technology to the conversation your audience is already reading — and writes the piece that belongs there.
The purchasing journey for automation technology can be a long one. A production or plant manager who reads a case study about machine vision today may not raise a budget until next year. Stone Junction can build campaigns designed for that timeline.
Trade coverage connects to content your sales team can use directly, and digital activity keeps your name visible between editorial cycles.
Equally, we know how to work in a fast-moving environment, where the buyer needs the part on site yesterday, to help mitigate downtime and save money.
Our reporting is detailed and honest. We will always keep you up to date on what we’ve placed and what is coming next.
Working with us can transform your marketing and PR activity. But don’t take our word for it, here’s what Emma Jayne Johnston, from the marketing team at our client Technidrive, has to say:
“Stone Junction’s PR campaign has significantly boosted our brand awareness globally.”
“We generated 170 leads which would not have been possible without PR and marketing. Multiple projects were initiated and this has led to new business in agrifood, materials handling and quarrying. We’ve also secured two major projects.”
Stone Junction is a specialist automation and robotics PR agency, a corporate affiliate member of the CIPR and full member of the PRCA.
We are based in Stafford, Romania and Munich and boast a team of more than 30 consultants who speak nearly 20 languages between them and are qualified in subjects ranging from chemistry and IT to biology and natural sciences.
In short, we can help you reach design engineers, systems integrators, the c-suite, manufacturing and engineering directors, maintenance managers — basically anyone in your audience.
Stone Junction is independently owned, and its advice is unbiased. Our agile approach to marketing means we can pivot to deliver the right tactic, service or result for our clients without consideration of vested interest.
With more than 70 PR and marketing awards under our belt since 2015, Stone Junction is one of PR Week’s Top 40 Technology PR agencies, Top 150 UK agencies, Top 50 independent agencies and Top 50 Agencies Outside London.
