Umar is a journalist and digital marketer now turned PR professional, providing STEM PR for national and international clients. With two journalism degrees from Birmingham City University, Umar has spent over a decade working in journalism, data analytics and digital marketing. Outside the PR realm, you’ll usually find him in the gym or swimming in the open water and pool for Birmingham Masters Swimming Club. If he’s not in the water or gym, then he’ll be indulging in anything tech, data visualisation, motorsport, darts, snooker or rock and roll.
